Start with the collection you want to build

Jeans, jackets, shirts, shorts, skirts, dresses, overalls and jumpsuits can all form part of the development brief. Start with your customer and market, then define the fit, fabric, wash and trims.

Ready-to-ship sourcing and custom development need different checks. Confirm sizes, quantities and dispatch for a stock item; use references, a technical pack or a sample to define a custom project.

Turn a reference into a usable specification

A reference image communicates a direction, not a complete specification. Mark what should stay and what should change. Include measurements, composition, weight, stretch and wash references where available.

Discuss woven labels, care labels, buttons, zips, hangtags and packaging during sampling. You need permission to use any branding or artwork you supply.

Consider construction and wash together

Fit, sewing and washing work together to create the finished garment. Review measurements, seams, pocket positions, shade and hand feel, and keep revisions in a single record.

Our manufacturing page shows existing factory material. Illustrative development scenes explain the process; they are not evidence of factory scale or delivery capacity.

Confirm the commercial details for your project

Share styles, quantities per style, size ratios and destination before discussing sample costs, minimums, quotations and scheduling. A collection reference is not a stock or lead-time commitment.

Keep specifications and approvals clear at each stage, from the initial brief through sampling and production planning.
